American Gods Season 2 Spoilers?

It’s that time of the month again where we talk about American Gods Season 2 Spoilers, cast members and even a musical episode, thats right a musical number in American Gods.

Despite some major set backs for the series over the past months which you can read about in my previous posts. Season 2 seems to be going ahead full steam with season two allowing us, the audience to delve deeper into the mythology of the book by our beloved Neil Gaiman.

At the Emerald City Comic-Con, Yetide Badaki (Bilquis) and Ricky Whittle (Shadow) couldn’t contain their excitement for Season 2 and how much more there is to cover. Ricky Whittle (Shadow) said that “they are not even at the quarter of the book.” with Yetide Badaki (Bilquis) suggesting that “they’ve only just crossed the 120-page mark of the massive 600 to 700-page tome.”

The Actor and Actress are confident that they’ve “got so much material” to explore in American Gods season 2. Which for those of us who have read the book would know that there’s lot more places to visit and tons more characters to meet. It’s also been rumoured that Gaiman plans to delve deeper into other character’s back stories beyond what is in the novel, much like what season 1 did with Emily Browning (Laura) and (Pablo Schreiber) Sweeney.

Season 2 will also feature a musical number between Yetide Badaki (Bilquis) and Ricky Whittle (Shadow), hopefully Whittle can put to use those dancing feet as well giving us a much needed dose of his dancing with the stars days. It is still unclear if Kristin Chenoweth (Easter or Ostara) will be returning for season 2 and we still don’t have a premiere date due to set backs.

So fellow American Gods fan, Let us know what you think about this news —How do you feel about a musical number between Bilquis and Shadow and what characters do you hope to see more of?
