American Gods returns for a second volume of the Dark Horse Comics comic book series.

The second arc of Dark Horses comic book series is here, and I’m living for it..

Dark horse’s comic series, American gods; Shadows, which is based around Neil Gaimans written novel was released earlier this year in march. It was announced back in 2016, that the American Gods comic was planned to consist of three nine-issue arcs: ShadowsMy Ainsel and The Moment of the Storm. However the Dark horse comics team couldn’t contain their excitement for My Ainsel and have already announced details of the next nine issues prior too New Yorks 2017 Comic Con.

Dark Horse have said “American Gods: My Ainsel, will follow Shadow Moon and Mr Wednesday as they continue their bizarre trans-American road trip to recruit reinforcements for the imminent war of the gods”

Writer P.Craig Russell (who has previously adapted Gaiman’s work like Coraline and The Graveyard Book) and illustrator Scott Hampton (HellboyBatman) have returned to bring more of Gaimans world to life. As well as stunning imagery by Glenn Fabry (Preacher) and Adam Brown (Predator vs. Judge Dredd vs. Aliens) along with some extremely beautiful variant cover art by David Mack (KabukiFight Club 2).

If you missed out on the first arch, American Gods; Shadows, you can always catch up by purchasing the first volume. This 264-page hardcover consists of the first nine issues of the series, along character designs and variant cover art.

I write reviews and unwanted opinions but most importantly novels.
